About Northstar at Tahoe™ and The Village at Northstar™

Northstar in located between North Lake Tahoe and Truckee.  The resort has 63 downhill runs that covers over 2,400 acres. Snowboarders will enjoy the jumps, berms and half-pipes of the snowboard park and there are over 65 kilometers of groomed trails for cross-country skiers. 

In the summer, those same ski runs become mountain bike trails.  Visitors can enjoy rock climbing, golf, horseback riding, tennis, swimming, boating, fishing, rafting, rock climbing, roller skating and more.    The gondola and chairlift run all summer long to the top of the mountain for those breath taking views of Lake Tahoe.
